7 Highest Paying Services on Fiverr and Upwork

Okay, so in this post, we’re going to be discussing Fiverr and Upwork as we are going to be picking the most in-demand side hustles and gigs on both sites.

Guys this is really cool that they’re having this much transparency with how much money is being made on the sites and by doing what.

I’m gonna tell you guys in this article, I’m also gonna go through it with you guys and break down what it means for you. And why you should get started freelancing if you have not yet.

So good old Fiverr and Upwork together… Whoa!! -WOW- teamed up and released an article on Yahoo last week where they go over the most in-demand side hustles on their platforms.

One of the major things that stood out to me in this article is that Fiverr confirmed that writers on their website are charging as much as $1,045 per article they’re writing.

Yours truly charges anywhere from $125 up to $500 per article that I’m writing based on word count. But that tells me maybe I should consider raising my prices a little bit because somebody out there is making over a $1,000 per article and kudos to them!

All right, so let’s look at this article in depth and break down the different pricing information that both of these sites have generously shared with us.

So according to Fiverr, you can earn anywhere from $75 to $1,045 writing an article or $135 to $995 optimizing existing content for SEO.

What that means is a client might give you their website content and 10 keywords and say- ‘Hey, we need our keywords written naturally into the content.

Can you do this for us? It’s not hard to do and they’re willing to pay you good money for it because they just simply don’t have the time to do it.

Now in order for Fiverr and Upwork to come up with this information, it says they looked in more than 300 categories and reported their findings to CNBC.

Now, how about for the website designers and developers out there?

Well, it said for anyone writing code for WordPress, you can earn $395 up to $4,095 on Fiverr.

And for video editing which I know is in hot demand because I, myself, pay a video editor to take this lovely content right now and make it nice for you guys. You can pay anywhere from $100 to $3,200 depending on the project.

Upwork says their social media account managers are earning about $25 per hour on average. This is pretty cool because a social media account manager can be a beginner type of role.

So if you’re someone with no prior experience earning $25 per hour that’s pretty good. That’s well above minimum wage and again you can do it from your laptop anywhere you want in the world.

How about teaching what you know?

Fiverr says people charge anywhere from $5 to $100 per class that they teach ranging from…

Get ready for this! cooking, crafting, music, language, and personal training.

Gone are the days when Fiverr just offered logo design, copywriting, website design. Doesn’t matter! You can be a chef. You can be a personal trainer. You can be a model. You can be anyone and get on a Fiverr and make money today.

It’s not just for us copywriters out there. Personal trainers on Fiverr offer virtual training sessions that range from $15 to $75 per session.

So you can get on Fiverr for 30 minutes tell someone to, you know, do more push-ups than they’re doing and make $75!

It’s pretty awesome. I know it’s not that simple guys. My sister is a virtual trainer.

So I’m not trying to simplify it. ‘The Big Bucks’, it says.

One of the highest-paying side hustles is mobile development.

For sure! I believe that. On Fiverr, you can earn anywhere between $200 to $3,000 per project. And of course, you will need to be an engineer or coder to do so.

Note: it doesn’t say anywhere that you need to have college degrees or experience to do any of this stuff. It’s all about your prior experience and your portfolios. So it says- For example, UI designers can earn anywhere from $185 dollars to $6,300 on app projects while quality assurance testing will bring in $36 an hour on average.

Now I really hope that these sites release even more information about how much money people are making on their websites.

Because I do believe that transparency with it can help more people feel confident to leave their job and get started freelancing and it can also back up more of the claims that all of us ‘freelancer influencers’ are posting and then get roasted for on a site like Reddit.

As you can see, both of these sites have validated how much money people are making on their websites right now. And the only thing stopping you is just getting started. That’s why I have so many Articles on Fiverr and Upwork.

I have so much information available online too that is 101. So I’d love to hear your thoughts in the comment section below. Are you surprised by some of these prices? Are you earning this much doing things on freelancing sites or if not what are you earning or what are you doing? I would love to learn more.

It helps me create an informational article that’s helpful to you guys. So let me know your thoughts below and I will be back next week with another article.
